Checking if the Infoprovider has been loaded...

Hi all!

Sorry, this question seems very simple to solve but I am a beginner. What are the sequence of steps that I should do to check if a cube or datastore object has been loaded and who loaded it? How can I check if the loading was erroneous? What are the sequence of steps to do this process?

Thank you for your patience people!

Hi Philips,

Goto RSA1 -> Info-provider -> right click -> Manage -> check if any requests are there -> If so then data is loaded. Click the monitor of any of the requests -> Now in the monitor -> right hand side -> select the "hereder" tab -> It would have all the data that you need.

Bye

As of nw2004s BI Admin cockpit takes the central administrator piece and you can leverage this tool to evaluate statistics in many areas such as -

Complete redesign of query runtime statistics

Enhancement of data-load statistics to include statistics for process chains and data transfer processes

Current data-load status of process chains and processes

Current status of loaded requests

New InfoObjects, data flows and extractors have also been created. The new technical Content allows you to perform evaluations that the old technical Content did not offer.

Hope it Helps

Hi,

You can also use TX: LISTCUBE, there you give data provider name and execute.

Or you can run default query in TX: RSRT(2), the default query wil be in the form cube/!cube

Thanks & Best Regards,

Hi,

Go to RSA1 select your data target right click select manage tab once you go to

manage screen select request tab click on that tab then it will show you how many records are transfered & how many are added after checking this screen

go to contents tab there only, if it is DSO click on new table it will display the

respected records based on your file or something. If you want see error status

go to manage screen at DS level.
