G/L account posting block

Dear Experts,

I am creating chart of account from the scratch for Czech Republic in ByDesign and I am wondering, how to set up G/L Accounts posting block. Is there any rule, which accounts have to be blocked for manual postings? What is the best practice and which aspects should be considered?

Hello Marian,

Usually the reconciliation GL account should not be allowed for manual postings.

But whether to allow manual postings to a GL or not will all depend on the Business use case and need.
