Delta initialization

Hi all,

how do we intialize the delta loads for the info objects(master data), which already has full load.

Harshi, if you plan to perform daily deltas for your master data, it is a good idea to perform full loads on a weekly/monthly basis to refresh your master data. From past experience, we have modified some master data extracts and those custom attributes do not always get updated from the delta.

the master data could be initializaed over a previous full update withput problem...because in a master data object the data is always overwritten...you could do an initialization with or without data and then the delta queue would start to work...

Hi,

You can create a new infopackage based on this InfoSource and in the Update tab specify Init (or Init without data transfer since you already have loaded the full load). You can schedule this infopackage and then set the delta InfoPackage to run at regular intervals.
