How can the Customer Condition Group 1 - 5 fields be used

Former Member

when they all reference the same check table - TVKGG ? I want to use one of these fields on VBKD (sales business data) but the entries in all 5 fields are the same. Doesn't make sense to me why they would all reference table TVKGG.

Any ideas?

Hi Lisa,

When you are using this Customer condition Group 1 to 5 data, you can use this in the pricing by including this field with the combination desired in the Access Sequence and create a condition record in the Pricing.

Whatever the customer you are assigning with this Customer Condition Group, that pricing will take.

One thing you have to remember. When you are declaring this Customer condition group, this is defined in the Customer General Data : Extras-->Additional Data. This is applicable for all Sales Area. You cannot restrict this specific Sales Area.

But if you go into Sales Area Data of the Customer: Extras-->Additional Sales Data, here you can define a Customer Group 1 to 5 which can again be utilised in pricing by including this in the Access Sequence to create a condition record. Here you can restrict this according to the Sales Area.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. Reward points if satisfied.

Hi Augustine,

Thank you. I've used the fields before but I'm interested in knowing why they all use the same check table TVKGG. Other freely defined fields such as Attribute 1-10 use different check tables for each field (TVK1-TVK0 ) and the Customer Group field 1-5 use check tables (TVV1 - TVV5 ).

So...the dropdown options when using Customer Condition Group fields are all the same.
