MS Acess Driver for JDBC Adapter

Hi All,

I'm connecting to an MSAccess Database which is not on my XI server. i had gone throught the following blog. this explains when the mdb file is on the xi server path itself. but in my case the mdb is at a different location. how to connect to the Access in such kind of scenario?

Thnx in Advance

Anil

    Hi Anil,

Give full path of the mdb file including ip address or host name. Ensure that machine is accessible from XI server.

    Hi Anil,

A far as i know, the "sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver" driver is a part of the JDK kit, you need not actually install the driver on your XI server. Check the SAP Note on JDBC FAQ to get more on this.

Just use the parameters mentioned in the thread below to to directly access MS Access DB.

    File-XI-MS Access
