Business Package for SAP CRM 5.0 roles / permissions problem

Hi all,

We have installed the Business Package for SAP CRM 5.0. We have also set up everything so we have now connection with the backend (mySAP CRM 5) - connection tests are OK.

The problem is that when we assign to a user the portal roles and backend roles necessary to execute some actions (like "account manager"), it seems to be insufficient because when the user logs on, the tabs do not appear.

It is different when we use the sap_j2ee_admin role in the backend system. Then we have the "account manager" tabs plus the "portal administrator" tabs.

We now there is a permission missing in our portal but we do not know where!

Any help would be really appreciated.

More details:

  • this does not show any tabs in EP **************

user in portal has following roles:

- defaultservices

- crm_user

- account_manager

user in backend has following roles:

- SAP_PCC_CRM_USER

- SAP_PCC_ACCOUNT_MANAGER

  • this does show all tabs in EP (account mgr. + portal admin) **************

user in portal has following roles:

- defaultservices

- crm_user
