Hello Ram,

- The link from Sudhi gives you all the general information.

- In the transactions that I gave you (O*) you shoud find an information related to your implementation: status profile that is used for your order type, user statuses in a profile etc (status profile is probably already configured)

- You should know (or find out from the business) which status to use.

- And most important: you have to create an event first (SWO1).

Thank you very much for your suggestions. I need some information about how to trigger a workflow when there is any change in the User status from 1 to 2 (for eg).Actually I am new to this Workflow topic.So can you help me in this somewhat clearly.

Hi,

You have to specific about what scenario you are working on. Not all transactions have the status management built in. If you have one then you can trigger events when the user changes the status from 1 to 2 or from "Created" to "Approved for release" which might be the case in a real life scenario.

However if you are new to workflow then I guess you sould start from the beginning and do the small tutorial which is in the same link if you browse good.

Once you do that then you can know what exactly happens in the background and what you need in order to have a customized workflow running.

Hello Ram,

As long as you do not make a special development change of the user status on the PM order will not have any impact on the Workflow.

I still don't get the full picture of your requirement, but:

- First of all: yes you can customize the user status for PM orders.

- You do it in OIBS and than assign it to the order type in OIOG

- It has so far nothing to do with the workflow.

Is that what you need? How do you want to use it in workflow?

Please be more specific.

It is possible to have user statuses on certain workflow objects (e.g. equipment, PM orders).

What for do you need the user status on the workflow itself?
