I have been using the BYD excel addin with Excel 2013 for some time and it works well. I have just received a new laptop with Excel 2016. The addin installed easily and mostly it works. I have an issue though when trying to enter date values using Direct Value mode.
For example on the G/L Line items report Selecting the Accounting Period/Year I can choose say "Previous Period" from the relative values but when I switch to Direct Value the drop downs on the first two columns do not work. If I try to select a value very briefly the values appear in a popup in the top left of the screen but I cannot select a value. I can type say "I" and "[]" to enter a range but only the first data box is ever available.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
