Creating an experts forum

Dear experts

Can we create a discussion forum in which a person can choose to whom the question should go?

My scenario is

Person1 : want to post a question.

Some experts will be there

Expert1, Expert2

While positng a question person1 should be allowed to post it to a particular expert. Can we acheive this? He should be allowed to keep track of his post also.

If this is possible , how will we achieve this?

Hi Aparrna,

As what you are describing is not really a "discussion" (which in general is open), and it's more like a Task, you for example could use tasks within the UWL to "get an issue cleared".

as Detlev said....ur requirement doesnt lead to a Discussion.....

if u want the question to be posted to a particular expert....its more like just mailing him...right???

instead u can post this thread in the forum and...and...u can send him an alert abt this question....

Thanks to both of you for your replies.

If I use a UWL the conversation will be visible only to the person who create a task and the expert to whom the task is assigned.

The posts by a person should be visible to others also. In this case how will I use a UWL task? Is there any other option?
