Error while loading the Web template "0ANALYSIS_PATTERN" (return value "4")

Hi,

I configured Web BEx and complete to do check Iist in "Diagnostics &Support Desktop Tool" all status was green. But I find a error when open BEx Web Analyzer

error message :

ERROR: Command type SWITCH_AXES of object not recognized

ERROR: Parameter GENERAL_TEXT_ELEMENT not recognized; check your metadata

"

So i run RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN_70 (0ANALYSIS_PATTERN(A)) report to check and choose validate.

error message :

This system was installed with Java add-in installation.

Abap and Java SPS level 12

Any idea to solve that ?

Hi,

You definitely have to activate 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN newly. These errors are simple inconsistencies in the 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN on your system in comparison to your metadata.

E.g. command SWITCH_AXES was changed to SWAP_AXES. You are getting the error that SWITCH axes does not exist -> meaning that your 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN is old.

Simply check the difference between "A" and "D" version in RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN_70. I will expect that "D" version is than correct (you can copy the "D" version to another template and execute it for check)

when I run RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN_70 to check 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN with D version, The result are shown like this :

Please explain how to "copy the "D" version to another template and execute it for check"

How to copy D versio to A

1. transaction RSA1

2. Business Content

3. SAP Transport -> Object types

4. BEx Web Template (BTMP)

5. Search for 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN and all 0* objects

6. Select + Activate

Hi Kalisz,

I select 0* object in BTMP and transfer to right pane

then i choose install under the install button.

While the program were running, Short dump occur :

Error in the ABAP Application Program

The current ABAP program "CL_RSD_IOBJ_VERS==============CP" had to be

terminated because it has

come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.

What can you do?

Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.

To process the problem further, contact you SAP system

administrator.

Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look

at and manage termination messages, and you can also

keep them for a long time.

Error analysis

You attempted to use a 'NULL' object reference (points to 'nothing')

access a component (variable: " ").

An object reference must point to an object (an instance of a class)

before it can be used to access components.

Either the reference was never set or it was set to 'NULL' using the

CLEAR statement.

How to correct the error

Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.

If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to

find an interim solution in an SAP Note.

If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following

keywords:

"OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED" " "

"CL_RSD_IOBJ_VERS==============CP" or "CL_RSD_IOBJ_VERS==============CM01M"

"AFTER_ACTIVATION_DB"

If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error

notification to SAP, include the following information:

1. The description of the current problem (short dump)

To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File

(Unconverted)".

2. Corresponding system log

Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.

Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes

after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File

(Unconverted)".

3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP

program: The source code of the program

In the editor, choose "Utilities->More

Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".

4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which

actions and input led to the error.

Hi Kalisz,

After I update SP SEM-BW lv 13 to fix short dump

and run RSA1 to install BTMP (0*).

Now this problem was solved.

Last question, Why did it happen?

The QAS system hasnot error like this.

Hi,

i faced the same error and solved it just by transporting 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN and its components form test to prod (it worked on testsystem.

0D_DX_M01_Q0006 seems to be a query from the business demo content. I am not sure about, what this query has to do with this error ...

Go to transaction SPRO -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP Business Information Warehouse -> Settings for Reporting and Analysis -> BEx Web -> Set Standard Web Templates -> execute...

After that restart your J2ee engine.

Hi Kumar,

It don't work. BEx Web Analyzer still error with the same message.

The first time BEx Broadcaster can open but now it don't work too.

Please confirm my step

I fill all field in 'Set Standard Web Templates' with 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN

then open RSA1 > BI Content > Object Types

I select some object following note. 990321 and transfer to the right side frame.

then choose dropdown 'install' > install

Restart SAP

Open portal > BEx >> it still error

more information :

I already try to re-actiavte the template 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN from RSA1

but this error still occur.
