Hi all,
Can someone help me with the following question (Thanks in advance):
For every incoming truck of raw material we need 6 physical samples (1kg each). 4 samples need to be tested separately for chararteristic A, one sample needs to be tested for characteristic B and we need one reserve sample.
How do we need to set up the sampling procedures, the sample drawing procedure and the inspectionplan?
Use partial samples.
Specify 5 samples and one reserve. Characteristic A uses partial sample 001. Characteristic B iuses partial sample 002.
Characteristic A is single results recording with fixed sample size 4, each of 1 kg.
Characteristic B is summarized results recording with fixed sample size of 1, or 1 kg.

thanks for your answer Craig but it didn't work out.
Here is what I did.
Sample drawing procedure: 5 primary, sizefactor 1. 1 reserve sample size 1 kg
Sampling procedure for char.A: fixed sample, size 4.
Sampling procedure for char.B: fixed sample, size 1.
Inspectionplan: assign sample drawing at header and put in the 2 char. with different sampling procedure.
Assign char. A to partial sample 1 and char. B to partial sample 2.
The result: 1 reserve sample (good) and 5 primary samples, each 5 kg. Expecting 4 results for char.A and 1 result for char.B on each of the 5 samples.
What I want is 5 samples of 1 kg. 4 samples that will only have 1 result for char.A and 1 sample that will only have 1 result for char.B.
Is this possible you think?
Kind regards
