SAP CATALOG CSV 2.0 <;> full

Hi All

I'm working for a customer that has SRM Server 5.0 and CCM 2.0.

We are facing a problem when trying to change item details - so I have a few questions for some of you experts within CCM:

1. When changing item details - is the key for changing a specific item the entry in the Item Valuation column? If so - is it not possible to choose another key such as the item id?

2. A former colleague has set the schema and the content upload as delta - My thought is to make it a full upload. I've tried this in our test system, but the mapping seems to disappear - which might make Sense - but how do I transfer the items to the master and purchase catalogue afterwards? Normally that goes automatically.

3. Is it possible to upload only the content with the SAP CATALOG CSV 2.0 <;> full - or do I have to upload the whole schema with models, category definitions etc?

4. How will a full upload be reflected in the purchase catalogue? Will that change accordingly?

Thanks for your answers in advance

Hello Maria,

For updating the item data, you should not use full option and make sure the item valuation is same as initial upload. I often use supplier parts number for item valuation when uploading items to supplier catalog.

Hi Masa

Thanks for your answer.

I might be able to use lets say the product ID or the vendor number as the Item Valuation. I've actually thought about that myself, but I wasn't shure if that was applicable.

I have one additional question. What if I want to delete items? I have read that it's only possible with a full upload?

Best Regards

Maria

Hello Maria,

No delete option for CSV upload.

Solutions are

+ full upload option

+ upload via XML

+ implement BADI /CCM/CTLG_ENRICHMENT.

Masa
