internal table validation

hi experts,

i have an internal table with below format

lot number meter # operation inspector date result shotr text long t

70000000527 2446 310 Deepak 19.04.2007 41.24 eet ghhjj

70000000527 2446 320 Deepak 19.04.2007 41.25 jjk hjjjjj

70000000527 2446 330 Deepak 19.04.2007 41.26

70000000527 2446 340 Deepak 19.04.2007 0001

70000000527 2446 350 Deepak 19.04.2007 41.28

i hve to delete the operation if result or long text or short text is initial.

plz tell me how solve this issue

    Hi Alson,

    Have you tried the statement:

    DELETE ITAB WHERE SHORT_TEXT IS INITIAL OR LONG_TEXT IS INITIAL.

    delete itab where result is initial or shorttext is initial or longtext is initial.

    or

    delete itab where result is initial or ( shorttext is initial or longtext is initial ).

    Hi Alson,

    Do like this.

    LOOP AT i_tab into wa_tab.

    IF wa_tab-result is INITIAL

    or wa_tab-longtext is INITIAL

    or wa_tab-short text is initial.

    DELETE i_tab FROM wa_tab.

    ENDIF.

    ENDLOOP.
