Hi
We have incoming project orders settled to CO-PA. Also at month end settlement of results are done in CO-PA record type C. We noticed, that in COPA some record types are created for non billing element wbs. WHat can be the reason ? As in normal case, record type c is only for billing element.
Kind regards
Farhan

Hi Farhan,
Do not update settlement rules for lower level wbs elements.as i mentioned in my previous post.If you are using RA key functionality do not settle lower level WBS elements to higher level, utilize RA key functionality.system automatically includes all cost under RA wbs element for calculation and settlement.this will increase settlement performance also.
if you still want to settle lower level WBS elements to higher level, assign settlement receiverm as a WBS for lower level ones.
Thanks,
Rau

Hi Farhan,
If Account assignment element indicator is selected, WBS can be settled to COPA or GL. check Account assignment element indicator is selected or not? And settlement rule for the same WBS elements?
If you are using RA key functionality do not settle lower level WBS elements to higher level, utilize RA key functionality.
Thanks,
Rau
