Outbound proxy error, but processing successfull

Former Member

Hello all,

I'm using an outbound proxy to send some data from R/3 to XI. This interface is working fine.

Now in R/3 a message shows a red flag with the error "HTTP_RESP_STATUS_CODE_NOT_OK" (Error Category INTERNAL). I expect that this message is now stopped on R/3 and I can do a manual restart. I was therefor really suprised to see that this message has been correctly processed on XI. Does anyone have an explanation for this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi all,

Thanks for the reactions. Actually the http-error is not the problem. This is working fine. The real problem is the monitoring. Why does the message have a red flag on the R/3-system and is still being processed on XI? This makes monitoring unreliable.

Thanks in advance.

HI,

see the above blog ,

If there is HTTP error during connection, first run transaction SLDCHECK in the Business system. Also check that HTTP connection is working fine.

In XI Adapter use HTTP connection rather then giving R/3 input details as this is easier to transport and maintenance

One receiver adapter can be used for all Interfaces connecting to a Business system

Hi,

This Error - HTTP_RESP_STATUS_CODE_NOT_OK Might also occur because of authorization Check sm59 HTTP destination on R3 that points to the XI integration engine.
