VOE4, maintain by transport request in cust.not allowed live system

Hello,

I am looking for a way to maintain VOE4 in development system and transport request to customising not allowed live system. But since the new customer and internal numbers are not available in development system it is not possible to configure EDI partners. Any way, is it possible to maintain convertion external to internal partner numbers in development system without patner number check? Or can you suggest any way to keep customer numbers in development system just the same as in the live system, without making any change in definition and assignment of customer number ranges in development system?

Thanking you in advance.

Kind regards,

Apply SAP Note 747317 - Maintaining VOE2 and VOE4 from Release 46B onwards - AND SAP 135028 - Transfer IMG activity to current setting

If you check in SE11 for the table EDPAR you will see that the delivery class of this table is C - a customizing table. So if the client, you are working in, does not allow changes to the configuration then you will not be able to use VOE4.

To check this, you can use transation SM31 for table T000 and look at the setting under changes and transports for client-dependent objects. The above also applies to VOE2 and EDSDC.

Note 135028 can be used to allow changes for VOE4 systems where the client role is set to productive. For changes in non-productive systems please see note 356483.
