How to save in different worksheets in a single workbook

Hi Experts,

I ran one query and I saved it as a new workbook. In the same query I drilled down with another characteristic and I need the output should be saved in the same workbook in sheet 2.

Kindly do let me know how to save the different ouputs in a single workbook as sheet 1, sheet 2,..etc.,

You cant save the output after drilldown dynamically in another sheet, but you can create another query which gives the first shot of output with drill down and can insert it in another sheet of the same workbook.

You can not do it automatically. As suggested by Venkat either create another query OR you have to copy and paste is manually in diff. sheets.

After drilled down, i copied manually and i pasted in the sheet 2 (same work book). But i am able to refresh the workbook only in the sheet 1 but not in sheet 2.This sheet 2 seems to be static worksheet.

Give me a solution

Hi Kishor,

If you have just copy pasted this reult in sheet2 then it will be static.

If you want to refresh data in all the sheets then you have to create diff. queries as said by Venkat and insert this query in sheet2.

When you want to refresh data for any particular query then put cursor on any cell of the Query result an refresh it.

If you want to refresh data for all the queries in the workbook then select cell(put cursor) on any empty cell and refresh the workbook.

The other sheet will not have any data after you refresh the workbook. The reference will get deleted in the sheet. The only solution for you to workout dynamically is as I said in my above post.(creating another query by saving as this query and putting the drilldown as first cut view).
