But for values like 751512121.55 Rs. My output is SEVENTY FIVE CRORE FIFTEEN LAKH TWELVE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED TWENTY ONE Rupees F

    Hi Swarna,

    There could be 2 reasons

    1) window size is not fit enough to display the whole text

    2) the variable through which u r displaying is not having sufficient length. So increase the length of the variable.

    Hi,

You can also use SPELL_AMOUNT fun module for this purpose.

Generally amounts are rounded and displayed in words.

But still you wants to display paise also.youy have to split the Ruppes and Paise at Decimal and pass them seperately to the fun module and concatenate the wordings and display. (since it is not printing the paise amount in your case)

    reward if useful

    regards,

    ANJI

If possible squeeze out some more space from adjacent windows to increase this window.

If not, try reducing the font of the paragraph format being used to show the text.

    Hi Swarna,

    WELCOME TO SDN.

I also faced similar problem while developing a script. First do one thing, Try to increase the window size and also adjust your layout to accomodate more space for this word format . Also try and use the SPELL_AMOUNT FM to help you in your issue. Mainly, increase the space, allocate one more line in the configure editor screen where you can see the form layout ,i.e. design before going for print preview.

I am sure your problem will be resolved.

    Hope this resolves your query.

    HI Warren

I too have a doubt on the variable declarations part. the output comes into a character variable &g_words& .I have defined as /: DEFINE &g_words&

The total number of characters which it supports 60 characters. Is it something due to it because the value which comes into g_words is only 60 characters.

    can you suggest something..

    Thanks

    Swarna
