through ALERTS

In the MONI, if you look inside the tracelevel etc.. you can find out the problem like Adapter / mapping /exceptions etc... etc..

4)how can rectify the errors.

suppose if it is a mapping error, you can test it in the mapping design object in the test tab. If it is related to adapter specific you can find out from the adapter monitoring ... like wise
