[PI] Unwaited Locks on a business system user : PIAPPLXXX

Hello all,

In order to use ABAP Proxies between my PI 2004s SP9 and a SAP ECC 5.0 business system called QAL, I've duplicated PIAPPUSER on my XI system and so created PIAPPLQAL user on it as explained on PI configuration steps concerning configuration of Business systems with Integration engine.

To connect QAL to the SLD, I set :

- involved RFC destination in SM59 on QAL using PIAPPLQAL user

(RFC tests are ok)

- LCRSAPRFC_UNICODE JCO Listener in visual admin with user SAPJSF as explained in documentation.

When I call SLDCHECK from my QAL business system, the lock count of my PIAPPLQAL on PI system is incremented....

Thus, I find unwaited locks on PIAPPLQAL.

On PI (transaction SM21) I can find :

10:44:16 DIA 001 001 SAPJSF US 1 User PIAPPLQAL locked due to incorrect logon

Reason : Wrong password

In exchange profile, Service user set for application system is PIAPPLUSER.

Can you help me ?

Hi Jean,

Delete ur old password for PIAPPLQAL and replace it with a new password in capital letters

Now unlock the user, try again and do let us know the status

Hello all,

Issue came from a password pb.

My Business system QAL wasn't an unicode system...

I must have set password of PIAPPLQAL user on XI system in upper case.

Then I changed it in all involved RFC destination on QAL and in SLDAPICUST transaction
