How to allow special characters in BW? Not globally through RSKC tcode, but local to my object.

I need to load data from SAP table which consists of 5 description fields each with 60 characters in size and 3 key fields. So I thought to load the data in the form of master data as text data would not be possible because text table consists of only short, medium and long descriptions fields only. When I started loading the data I faced invalid characters issue in many records. I cannot start correcting all the data one by one and even my business wants the entire data with invalid characters. So guys can you please suggest how should I allow special characters local to my object? Is there any sap standard function module to solve the issue? Or should I implement field level routine? What should be the logic of routine in that case?

Thanks in advance.

a number of invalid chars can't be loaded into BW even when listed in RSKC. The only option would be to clean it up. You need to code this. You can implement the logic at infoobject level or at field routine level, depends on usage of the infoobject. You can find many examples of such code if you search the forum. Also translate all the data to uppercase or check the master data for allowing lower case.

Thanks for the information. I tried many forums but could not find the logic in field level routine to allow special characters.
