Periodic Bill Plan in CRM


I am working on periodic bill plan in CRM. After entering the contract start date and end date system is not splitting the billing amounts periodically.

I have used standard Bill plan assignment to the item category.Still it is not working. Do we have to do some other settings to achieve this in CRM?

Note : We have also activated CRM Performance Switch in SFW5 in CRM .Do this have any impact on the functionality. I hope this splitting of billing amounts for the defined contract period in header should work as per standard.
