Equal filed for MBLNR in MB02 / MB51?

Hi Experts,

I hv to poulate MB1B's MBLANR filed value into MB51 transaction in BDC. So,

Pls. clarify that,

1 - What is the Equal filed for MBLNR of MB1B / MB01 transaction in MB02 / MB51 transaction? Is it Reference Doc. # XBLNR?

2 - Is these MB02 / MB51 both transaction r the same transaction? I mean, R they do same functionality? If not, What is the diffrenec?

Hello Sridhar,

What is the business requirement? this will help to give accurate input.

XBLNR is reference field when creating material document so it can be anything i.e. Purchase order number, inbound delivery, outbound delivery, Material request number. MBLNR is the result of MB1B tranaction, sometime MBLNR = XBLNR when you give the previouse document number as reference to create new material docuement. i.e. If you want to cancle one material document at that time you can give old material document number so in this case MBLNR (old) will become XBLNR for <b>new</b> MBLNR.

I think U got my requirement as my response to my other thread!

Anyhow, the requiremetn is,

''Link the 123 consignment transfer movement to the 124 consignment transfer movement done via program ZMM_ BDC which creates both the 123 and 124. Create link by placing the 123 document number in the header text (MKPF-BKTXT) of the 124 movement and vice versa. Add the header text field (MKPF-BKTXT) to the end of the DW material movement extract program Z_ALV_REPORT. Add the material movement header text field to the BO universe and load program.''
