Budget control at GL account level

Hi,

My company would like to implement budget control at GL Account Level & then by cost centre.

Please advise the best method for this.

Hi,

You should either implement PSM/FM or use CO planning with enhancement, as standard CO planning doesn't have blocking functionalities. Also, keep in mind, that if you don't implement PSM/FM, but use enhanced CO planning, you would be able to control activities only on expense/income level, i.e. only for the accounts which have cost element. Balance sheet G/L accounts would be out of scope in this case.
