Encryption for Interaction contact information

Hi team.

(1) Can I encrypt the certain information (e.g, resident registration number) and decrypt this information only by authorized person in the hybris marketing cloud public version? Is this possible?

(2) Do you guys have the experience that do the UI masking in the interaction contact factsheet page? If yes, please give me some information how team did the UI masking.

could you please describe the use case for the encryption / decryption of certain fields of a contact? How should the encryption look like?

And if data can be encrypted, what is the need for a separate masking feature like you mentioned in your second question?
