Hi Expert,
Please help me out of this issue.
Employee wants to change an approved Leave Request by sharking one day, but the system always pop up the message that no enough quota for the changed leave request and does not allow to process the request. Employee does have enough quotas left if checking Time Quota remaining balance. Even employee have all quota used, but now employee want to short one day, the system should allow to go as at least there will be one day remaining balance. But why the ESS does not allow employee to go ? Is there any configuration I need to adjust to get this out?
By the way, all history leave requests have been approved by the manager and posted, IT2001 and IT2006 records have been updated correctly. Actually, Employee just tries to make change to existing IT2001 record via ESS. If we do the change from IT2001 directly, no any problem.
Regards,
Jim

Use the Tcode CATC to determine any inconsistencies, nothing do with configuration even not a issue in ESS side.
Once you determine the inconsistency do the changes accordingly then use Tcode CATA finally go and adjust leave request in ESS.
Try this and let me know.
Thanks,
Kiran.

Hi,
May be you can check up in the following SPRO setting
Personnel management --> Employee Self Service -->Service Specific Setting -->Working Time -->Leave Request -->Processing Processes --> Define Processing Processes for each rule group.
Check to which rule group , your leave type has been assigned and then
Check "Take Account of Unposted Requests" cluster available in "Define Processing Processes for each rule group."
May be this will solve your problem.

Raj
Hi Raj,
Actually, we did have the testing with the configuration setting you mentioned from our DEV environment before we posted this issue. The problem is we did the testing from our DEV environment, it works, employee can change the vacation leave via ESS (DEV) without any problem. The issue is our Production has same configuration setting as DEV environment, but employee has issue with the change of leave request. We even can not simulate the case from DEV environment as it always work from DEV.
Do you see is there any other area that we do not know but, it might impact the behavior of ESS ? Or any other condition that Production environment has but, DEV does not , which might impact the quota calculation ?
Regards,
Jim
