Hello Everybody!!!
I have some doubts, can you help me, please???
1) Technical Systems are application(software) systems, ok? They aren't hardware systems, ok?
2) In my SLD I should have a SAP ECC system as a technical system and each of their clients as a bussiness system, ok?
3) For third-party systems, where the client concept doesn't exist, I should have one technical system and only one business system for my third-party system, ok?
thanks a lot
Julio
1) Technical Systems are application(software) systems, ok? They aren't hardware systems, ok?
>>> Technical systems are actual physical system(you can also say hardware( Computer or server ) with IP address)
2) In my SLD I should have a SAP ECC system as a technical system and each of their clients as a bussiness system, ok?
>>> Yes this is fine. SAP ECC technical system actually represent physical host. Each client on SAP ECC forms Business systems.
3) For third-party systems, where the client concept doesn't exist, I should have one technical system and only one business system for my third-party system, ok?
>>> NO, For thirdparty, technical system represents the physical Host and the business systems can be SQL SERVER or .NET application or Oracle apps any thing running on the technical system. So you can have any number of business systems on a technical system.

One Goog example for u r understanding for many Business Systems.
Nokia and Sony Ericson is using J2ME as a Software.
Nokia and Sony Ericson are 2 different business systems.
and J2ME is 1 technical system.
So, Both the Clients can access the Single Technical system.
This will Help u in understand u in concept.

hi julio ,
ur view is correct except in the technical system .
1) technical systems are the physically located systems in which we can create only technical system for any physically located system .
2) bussiness systems are logical systems . according to the type of technical system we can create the no of bussiness systems .
-
technical system of type W AS ABAP we can create multiple business systems as there is the concept of clients .
-
technical system of third party we can not create more than one business system as there is no matter of client .
3) so for every third party systems only one business system will be there .
some important points :.
-
atleast one business system will be there on any system .
-
we can create more than one business system on third party systems .

Hi
Technical System are used to define physical host on which a system is installed. The exact settings of each tech system depends on the type of System you are installing.
Business Systems are defined from technical systems or rather Technical Systems are the basis for which a technical system is defined.
so the answers for ur Q's would be
1)No they are the real hardware systems
2)yes
3)many business systems
