SRM MDM installation on EP system

Hello Experts,

Presently i am working for SRM-MDM Project we are planning for SRM-MDM data catalog 7.02 installation on EP system due to space concern we are planing to install on EP system below components we are going to install

Note: EP system is already installed in sybase database

SAP Net Weaver-MDM Server

SAP Net Weaver - MDM Import Server

SAP Net-Weaver- MDM Java API

SAP Net-Weaver- MDM GUI Clients

SRM MDM Catalog Repository

SRM-MDM Catalog UI

can you please advice us can we do installation on EP system.

Hi Rao,

I am afraid that there is some misunderstanding about the definition.
EP is enterprise portal, and for SRM-MDM catalog, it is deployed on java system J2ee system as one java component.
For MDM, it belongs to another topic, and usually you have to deploy all the following parts:

J2EE deployment (SRM-MDM UI, MDM JAVA API, etc.)

MDM core (MDM Server, Import Server, etc.)

GUI part (Console, Data Manager, Import Manager, etc.)

SRM-MDM catalog should be compatible with MDM version. For details, please also refer to the following KBA and wiki page:
