Dear All,

Pls help me - In any implementation if we are not copying company code & trying to create ( defining ) company how it will effect in business, since there is a debate going on i strongly stand on copying from standard 0001 due to various tables & fields interlinked.

If you are creating w/o copying then you have to check the settings for all the modules whereever used..........which is not right practice because u may encounter problmes once u go for that process............

Hi,

Charlie is absolutely correct, there are so many tables linked to the company code that it is easy to miss one out that may only be spotted during testing (or worse still after go-live).

Copying the company code does have dangers (such as not changing a defaulted field) but these dangers are far less scary that missing out whole tables.
