Hai,

1. What are the billing types for Milestone billing and periodic billing?

2. What is meant by Freight on Board(FOB)?

3. How we will take the returns of Free goods?

Billing type for Periodic billing is "02" and for milestone biling is "01". You have to maintain the start date.

FOB is generally an incoterm which means freight is not charged for shipping. It is term used for sale and the passing of risks for import and export of merchandise, recognised internationally.

For Free Goods Returns you need not credit the customer for the delivery, so just go ahead and issue a free-of-charge subsequent delivery.Remember you should refer to the sales document number against which returns was created.

There are no specific Billing type for Milestone & Periodic Billing. You can map normal F1 (Order-related) or F2 (Delivery related) in Sales order for Periodic & Milestone Billing. Periodic & milestone billing are goverened by item category, in which we maintain Billing Plan Type as 01 or 02, based on Milestone billing or periodic billing..

You can maintain separate billing type for both, by maintaining 'Z' Billing Type & mapping the same in their respective sales order type.

Hi,

1.These are billing plan types and there is no specific billing types.

2.Freight on board is the company is responsible to board the goods to the harbour i.e in layman terms we will say it as free on board.

FOB:

Factory shipment: Items shipped directly from the factory, which are noted as Freight-On-Board (FOB), are billed an additional cost for shipping and handling. FOB shipping charges may depend on destination as well as weight.

Periodic billing means for ex it like a telephone bill.......so every month u have to pay.

Milestone billing ex: total amount u pay in instalment basis....
