Connection factories in Enterprise Portal-7.0

Hi

I have configured connection factory and queues in Visual Administrator . When i have deployed an application using these connection factory/queue in EP6.0 , it is working fine. Now I need to deploy the same application on EP7.0 and have configured the same in Visual Administrator. But when I access it it is giving error

"ConnectionFactory "MyQueueFactory" does not exist. Possible reasons: the connector in which ConnectionFactory "MyQueueFactory" is defined is not deployed or not started."

What can be the possible reasons for this. The only difference I found in Visual Administrator was the "is RequireAuthentication" wasnt enabled. Even after enabling it , the user name and password fields are not enabled.

Please help

Regards

HI,

I used to face this Issue with websphere portal, but when I bounced the MQ server and Portal server it worked.

Couple of guess I am making here:-

1). Queue name is given correctly.

2). If its MQ, the queue Manager is started properly.

3). Try to get a dump of the JNDI names of QCF.

Hope this will help

regards

Vivek Nidhi.
