Hi all,
I am trying to import DC's from NWDI. I have done the following configurations -
1. Settings for NWDI - The ping is working fine
2. Created a DTR client
When I try to import a remote configuration and enter the credentials I get an error " No configurations on Server or server error".
Can anyone please help with this.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Regards,
Vivek
Hi Vivek,
This problem usually occur because you are not giving proper configure on names server in particular Server.
1. Go to http://localhost:port/sld
There you follow the steps:
On the start page of SLD choose Name Reservation Under Developement
Choose Define Namespace Prefix
Define following prefix:
Name Category = Development Component Name
Namespace Prefix = example.org/tech
Purpose = Used By Developer (default)
Owner = <user currently logged in>
Description = can be empty
Choose button creat
After that , click on UpdateCMS in domain data under LandScape Configurator in devinf page on the particular Server.
Thanks&Regards,
Mutyal

Hi,
Importing of DC has many interlinked tasks behind.
1.SLD must be configured in visual admin under tab "SLD Data supplier".Do CIM client test and trigger "SLD data transfer" .Both the things should be successfull.
2.Then coming to SLD page " profile settings should be done" and SLD should be in running state.
3.In SLD page ,go to "Administration"page and import CRcontent zip file, which will import some 95,585 objects.
This should import DC objects along with it.
reward points if helpful...........

Hi Vivek,
quick checklist:
Have you configured the correct SLD as nameserver?
Do you have at least one track configured on a CMS that is connected to that SLD?
Is there a stacktrace available in the log (Error Log view or just the .log file) ?

Marc

Hi Marc,
I guess all the configurations are fine.
It works perfectly fine when I try to import DC's on another PC using my user ID and Pwd. The problem is only in my NWDS. I checked the NWDS version also, both are exactly on the same version and patch.
Really dont know what the problem could be.
Thanks,
Vivek
Could u let me know which version of NWDS and WAS ur using?
