Matrix Printer Page Format

Please

I need more columns in the paper for print, I want to increase the size of line in my page format or edit format ZFORPAG2 for my device type matrix ZLX4227P: LEXMARK 4227 plus IBM Emul.

Please tell me how to do it?

What is this page format for? Smartforms, ABAP reports... ?

You would probably need to create a new page format, which is done in SPAD. Check with your Basis guys - you might not have enough authorizations. You'll find all the details here, for example:

Have you checked out the link above? I'm not sure if I can word it simpler...

Basically what you need to do IMHO is to set up a new Page Format (maybe a copy of ZFORPAG2) and change the size to whatever you need it to be. Then create a new Format Type and assign new Page Format to it (Portrait/Landscape usually doesn't really matter for matrix printers). Then assign the new Page Format to your existing device type. All this is done in the transaction SPAD -> Full Administration.

However, if it's needed for Smartforms or SAPScript, a change might be required in the form itself because usually it's linked to the specific page format.
