Hi experts,
Due to a specific Q environment setup, I have some difficulties to see how to use Business group and transport target within our SAP PO 7.5.
our environment :
ECC DEV - ECC TEST - ECC QA 1 - ECC QA 2 - ECC QA 3 - ECC PROD 1 - ECC PROD 2 - ECC PROD 3.
PO DEV - PO QA - PO PROD
I suppose you can see my problem when I am trying to transport to Q as in SLD target system for transport for BS can only be one within the same transport target group.
It is possible to have multiple target groups but only one integration engine to one target group.
So I don t know how this should be done, setting up transport targets for SLD for landscape with one business system connected to several target system (e.g. QA1, Qa 2, Qa 3).
For the moment I see only manual transport as solution.
Hope I am clear.
Hi,
Ideally, you should have three Test corresponding to three QA and three Prod. How the custom transport move to QA and prod? Does it move to all clients from same dev and test?
regards,
Harish

unfortunately we don t have. We have one D and one T and then 3 Q. That is an issue for transporting, from a transport target perspective and from a repository perspective (IDoc for example). It seems that a lot of manual stuff will have to be done.
It is not up and running for now. We have an on going discussion with SAP MAX on that subject on how to handle it.
Hi,
As we can have one transport target for each group, I can think only one possibility.
Change the transport target in SLD before importing the objects into integration directory. This process need to be repeated every time you import the objects to PO QA.
