Event raising on view maintenance.

Hi everyone.

I’m trying to raise an event when I change data on a field using a view maintenance of a Z table (through SM30). I’ve already managed to do ok when I create a new entry, but couldn’t find an event number that raise when I change an existing record. I’ve tried 07 and 08 events, adding a MESSAGE 'xxxx' TYPE 'I' line at the beginning of the form to check if it’s executing and the message doesn’t appear on screen, so I conclude that the event isn’t raising.

Anyone can help me about this or at least tell me where can I find some info?

As a second question, the event is supposed to check any date overlapping and, if there are, modify the existing records to avoid them. This is already working fine for new entries, as I said, but when I return to the main view maintenance screen the displayed data is the old one, and I have to re-enter the view maintenance for it to update. Is there any way for this 'reload' to be automatic?

Thanks a lot,

Fernando.
