How to Grouping characteristic

We have a characteristic(A) and it is an attribute of another three characterstics(1,2,3),

now we got requirement to group the values of A with respect to the 1,2,3

how can i achieve this?

Hi Suresh,

What do you mean by grouping the values? You want to sum the values of A independently of 1,2 and 3? to do that, you can set the A attribute as navigational attribute.

yes i want to sum the values of A independently to 1,2,3.

My requirement is like this, A is a attribute of 1,2,3 so we unable to get the subtotals of 1,2,3 with respect to A, we are getting the overall total.

How can get the subtotals of A with respect to 1,2,3.

Can you provide an example so I can understand better? Are 1, 2 and 3 three characteristics or values from one characteristic?

1,2 and 3 are the different characterstics and has the values

i want to get the subtotals of the values of these characterstics with respect to A with is the attribute of these characterstics.
