Difference between BI in SCM 5.0 to Standalone BW.

Hi Gurus,

I am working on upgrading BW component integrated in SCM 4.0 to SCM 5.0. I would like to know, the major differences in BI features, which comes integrated in SCM to that of standalone BI package.

SCM 5.0 has built in SAP BI 7.0. This is same as standalone BI in SAP NetWeaver 2004s.

Hi Manu,

The BI that comes with SCM 5.0 also has the process types (used in process chains) for APO. For example, in DP, you have a process type for mass processing, CVC creation etc.
