I'm yet to jump into the pool of WebDynpro for Java.
So as a pre-requisite I'm trying to know the fundamentals of it.
As of now I want to know one thing. i.e

Can anyone help me out in knowing this ?

hi
The Java Remote Method Invocation (Java RMI) framework enables the java developer to develop distributed
applications in a robust and effective way. The communication between Java applications that run in different
Java virtual machines on different hosts can be easily achieved with RMI. By using RMI calling a remote objects
method is almost as simple as working in a non distributed environment.

hi,
Welcome to Web Dynpro!
well there is no concrete definition for WebDynpro Framework , but we can summarize that as ,
WebDynpro Framework is,
1) it makes it easier to work with complex technologies, like we can use all kind of J2EE development
2)it ties together a bunch of discrete objects/components into something more useful e.g. we can take use of other appication created in J2ee or java and can integrate it with web dynpro
3)it forces the team to implement code in a way that promotes consistent coding, fewer bugs, and more flexible applications
4)everyone can easily test and debug the code,
5)provides the consistend and integrated IDE for development.
e.g, when you create any application in web dynpro , <b>web Dynpro framework</b>
does the part of making that application available via URL.
for overview of web dynpro just go through this

hope it helps

Hi,
WDF is a runtime envoronment it executes as service in the J2ee server with in the service all your wwebdynpro applications are executed and all required standard hook methods are generated through WDF only and client request and responses to be taking care and pass to servelet.
Thanks,
Lohi.
