can anybody expain me that how to split the production order
and waht is the prereuisite it
while splitting the order system ask for product cost collector

In discreet scinarion, there is no product cost collector, then how cost collector should be created?
Can you give some idea

even for production orders we can use product cost collector if
orders need to be settled peridically
In OPL8 set the indicator cost collector and default rule as periodic settlement.

HI,
when there is any capacity bottlenecks and if there is any material shortage
we can split the production orders. For this in the order type cost collector
indicator must be set and settlement should be periodic settlement.
we need to create a product cost collector.(KKF6N)
Select the operation , go to functions, split the order depending upon the the qty
for child order and enter the order start date .Now the sysytem will create a
child order..
