Rejection of Shopping Cart created as shop on behalf in SRM

I have an issue regarding shop on behalf in SRM

A shopping cart is created as shop on behalf and needs approval from a manager. If the manager rejects it, then the shopping cart is returned to the user that has been shopped on behalf of – not the user who did the shop on behalf. Is there a way to change this?

Ok thanks I see it now.

The only issue I have got left now, is that the "secretary" is not receiving any notification, when the shopping cart is rejected.

I know it can be manual check in "check status", but I would like to have an automatic notification send (like the one that is send to the requesting manager). And I would like to have it done without assigning the secretary as substitute for all messages for the manager (only the ones regarding rejection of shopping carts - not approvals)

That is what I tried to explain, even as a Secretary can make the changes for rejected shopping cart (i.e who did shop on behalf of manager) by following this:

______________________________________

Secretary can view his/her Manager's rejected shopping Cart and can change - For this you can go to 'CHECK STATUS' transaction (Using Secretary’s ID) --> Click on 'Extended Search' ---> Here, you will see the option "Bough On Behalf" , check that option --> then you will get the shopping cart of his/her Manager and you can make the changes accordingly.

Hi Shiv,

No, that is not what I am looking for.

I will try to explain the example again.

The secretary creates the SC on behalf of the manager. The SC is above the spend limit and needs approval. If the SC is rejected, it is returned to the managers inbox, and only he can change it. I want it to be returned to the secretaries inbox. She is the one that needs to change it.

Hello Anders,

Got it - So you are looking for an option where Secretary can view his/her Manager's rejected shopping Cart - For this you can go to 'CHECK STATUS' transaction (Using Secretary’s ID) --> Click on 'Extended Search' ---> Here, you will see the option "Bough On Behalf" , check that option --> then you will get the shopping cart of his/her Manager and you can make the changes accordingly.

Hope this helps.

Shiv

Hi Disha,

I have looked at the two notes. But that is not my problem. My problem is that the person that is being shopped on behalf of (ex. a manager), is registered as the initiator of the workflow. Therefore a rejection of a shopping cart is returned to him, instead of the person who actually is doing the shopping (ex. a secretary).

In my case the manager, never really access the system.

Hi

Please have a look to few OSS notes ->

Note 663895 Shop on Behalf of - Not working

Note 855867 - ordering on behalf remains in awaiting approval

Note 946331 - Work item is approved when the creator implements changes

Note 742261 Buying on behalf: Requestor is incorrect

Note 871076 - Out of Office functionality

Hope this will help.

Incase it does not help, please raise an OSS message with SAP.
