Balance sheet functionality

Hello SAP Gurus,

Can anyone tell me what is Balance sheet functionality and when it is being used, the transaction codes used for this are 'F.5D, F.5E, F.5G' etc..

    To ensure that the zero balance per business area necessary for creating business area balance sheets. If Profit Center Accounting is activated in the controlling area allocated to the company code, readjustments are made for profit centers as well.

    Basically to adjust the reports from the angle of BA and PCA and this adjustment is needed for the below :

    receivables and payables, Tax, cash discount and valuated exchange rate differences.
