Follow-on documents from Sourcing Cockpit

Hi Experts,

I created a freetext SC which was sent to the Sourcing Cockpit. In the Sourcing Cockpit I created a bid invitation and got a price from the vendor. I accepted the bid and closed the bid invitation. It is customized that I can create a PO or a contract out of the bid invitation.

But whether in the Sourcing cockpit (entry is grayed out) nor in the bid invitation I can do anything.

I already tried not to close the bid invitation and I got the same behavior. End time of the bid invitation is already reached.

Release: SRM 5.0 Extended Classic Scenarion

Thanks in advance

Tom

Hi,

When you have created SC in Sourcing Cockpit - create a bid invitation. When your vendor enters a price, you must accept this bid in Vendors/Bid tab. Simply click on link in status column and accept bid. When the bid is accepted click on this bid. Buttons Create Purchase Order and Create Contract should now be active.

Hi Thomas,

in the moment you close a bid invitation, the document is set on

status "completed" and no further processing is possible.

Just accept the bid. Then go to the bid invitation again, call tab "bidder/bids"

and click on the status link "accepted". Now you see the accepted bid and

on the top of the screen there are new buttons enabling follow on docs available.

Thanks,

Claudia

Thomas,

Go into the Bid (Vendor response) and try creating the follow-on document from there.

Hi

Which SRM version are you using ? What is your business requirement ?

Have you raised any OSS message with SAP on this yet?

Meanwhile, I will provide you few SAP OSS notes.

Let me know if you need anything else.
