SLD Concept

Hi,

Can any body suggest me on which concept SLD works?

I know that SLD works based on CIM. Is it the right answer for it?

Plz correct me If I am wrong.

SLD-system landscape directory it gives u vital info on software and hardware components. ya its based on cim model

Hi,

The SLD is the central information repository about software and systems expressed in a standard scheme called Common information model or CIM.

The SAP System Landscape Directory is part of every SAP Exchange Infrastructure installation and therefore needs to be managed according to the SAP XI needs as well.

Yes...SLD is developed based on the Common Information Model developed by DMTF.
