Hi,
I am looking to make a leap into NetWeaver.
I have only a basic grasp of Java and ABAP.
On what topics must I concentrate before actually getting into Netweaver.
I'm referring to topics like EJB, JSP, Servlets, Containers on the Java Side,
and ABAP Concepts like RFCs, BAPIs etc.
Any helpful links to ebooks / online material reagrding the same, to get this beginner started would be highly appreciated.
Thanks.
Sid.

PS. Reward the useful answers and you will get <a href="http:///people/baris.buyuktanir2/blog/2007/04/04/point-for-points-reward-yourself">one point</a> yourself!

Hi Siddharth,
Changing the reward points after rewarding them once doesn't make sense. Imagine if after a short while, everyone starts changing the points he assigned to helpful answers, what meaning would be left regarding the points system for people who are contributing on the forums.
You have the option of making a thread unanswered inspite of rewarding 10 points to someone. And in any case, you can start a new thread if you realized your problem still wasn't solved.
No offense meant...

Hi Siddharth,
Adding to the above.
I personally feel that...as you have knowledge on both JAVA nad ABAP technologies..Its really great
So you can choose the smallest component in SAP NETWEAVER.i.e. MI
Mobile infrastructure.
Where you can use your both expertise JAVA for building applications in Client side (UI side) and ABAP for developing from Backend/Server side.
PS: Its not mandatory to have great knowledge on JAVA nad ABAP if you wanna come into Netweaver.....Basic concepts and work flow and domain knowledge abt that particular Component in Netweaver.
If you are interested in learning MI..Welcome
All the best..Happy Netweaver...
Cheers,
Karthick
