Hi Experts,
I have configured Security Audit Log with following paramaters
1)DIR_AUDIT
2)FN_AUDIT
3)rsau/enable
4) rsau/max_diskspace/local
5)rsau/max_diskspace/per_day
6)rsau/max_diskspace/per_file
7)rsau/selection_slots
After set all these parameters i have restart SAP Instance and it is working fine but when i am analyzing the logs getting two suspects logs i am getting which i cant able to make it.
The Logs are
1) AUDIT: Slot 2 Inactive
2) AUDIT: Slot 3 Inactive
Please help me out whether problem is in the parameter setting or this is any other things.
Thnaks & Regards
Krushna Biswal
Hi Krushna,
you need to specify the number of slots in rsau/selection_slots. Based on your release there is a maximum number possible. We have ECC 5.0 and can have up to 10 but this was lower in earlier releases.
Please reward points if useful.
Kind regards
Petra

Hi Krushna,
here's an extract from Note 539404:
[4] Question: How many different selections can I make?
Answer: Unfortunately, the documentation for the parameter rsau/selection_slots is incorrect in some releases. Here are the current values:
4.0 4 (with screen enhancement) (Note 107417)
4.5 4
4.6 10
6.10 10
6.20 10
6.40 10
So I guess for your release (it should have one of the 6.* Basis releases) 10 is the maximum number of slots. But it is your decision what value you put in. With your error message I assume you need to at least put in 3 as you have defined 3 filters. We've put in the max of 10 but have not maintained/activated all filters at all times.
NOTE: When entering values higher than 5, the RZ10 displays a warning stating that the parameter value is not valid. This warning can be ignored. We've experienced that in 4.6 - not sure if it is the same in higher releases.
Please reward points if this helped.
Kind regards
Petra
