Hi all,
I face the issue that I can't block deletion of activities (tasks, appointments, phone call etc.) in C4C. Specifically, as a end-user I would like to be able to delete my own activities, however I should not be able to delete activities of other end-users.
I am aware of the fact that I can hide the "action" tab in adaption mode. I am also aware of the fact that I can adapt the business roles. However, if I put any "writing" restriction on activities in business role I will not be able to create an activity for another end-user.
So as an end-user I should be able to:
- Create activity for myself and also delete this.
- I should be able to create an activity for someone else (other end-users)
- I should not be able to delete an activity of someone else (other end-users).
Does anyone have an answer for this issue?
Hello N. Rezai.
Have you tried to restricted the Action "Delete" with UI Switches?
You can create an Identifier via PDI and add it to a Business Role via UI Switch.
Maybe the document Hide Fields Based on UI Switches can clarify this further.
