Hi SAP,
We are glad to see, that you implemented an audit logging within the XSA. And it's really nice that it includes an own interface, so that we don't need to build it by ourself. My first impression is, it's nice and comfortable, but I miss a logout button on the top.
I know its only a little issue, but our users would miss it.
Thanks a lot!
I believe the documentation may just be incorrect. I even checked our internal repo for this module and it only has the read and update operations. Perhaps the documentation was actually from an older version. There was a pretty big refactor of this module shortly before it shipped.

Hi,
today I was checking the Audit UI again for SPS02 and saw the same issue again. After that I saw that Nikolay mentioned the SPS03 for fixing the UI issue.
When does it will come, at the earliest in next year? As I assume there will be only two times a new SPS each year, or am I wrong?
But more important for me is, is the auditlog library finished or is that the same, that we need to wait until the next SPS?
Because I'm not able to check the entries by the UI, could someone tell me, where do I find the audit_log table for XSA?
I know it only for XSC.
SELECT * FROM "PUBLIC"."AUDIT_LOG"
Thanks!

Hello Dirk,
Thank you for your feedback. We are working to enhance the Audit Log Service UI with SAP HANA 2 SPS03. If you have additional feedback I would be happy to hear it.
Best regards,
Nikolay

Hi Nikolay,
thanks for your offer! We will let you know, if we miss something,
I'm keen to see how you 'll implement the functions, so that we can handle with it. We are working with express.js and would like to see also a nice sample, how this works for read, create, update and delete statements. Especially the read function would be very important for us!
And maybe, it would be helpful to give a hint in the documentation, if we are able to change the UTC timestamp to local time for audit-logging.
BR,
Dirk
Thanks a lot!
An other thing is, that I'm wondering about the functions for auditlog, which are mentioned within the docu.
I tried to implement the npm "@sap/audit-logging": "2.0.0", but wasn't able use all the functions. I couldn't find create and delete....
I saw that Thomas Jung is using 2.0.1 in the recent patch SPS02: We are still not able to upgrade on it and maybe the documentation is for a higher version.
