Display Personal Information

Dear experts,

I have a requirement of displaying of personal information (IT 0002) of an employee in ESS.

When I click on personal data in ESS, Its giving me an option to edit his Name and other personal informations, Which I would like to restrict.

He should be able view his personal data, not to edit.

I have checked the configurations in R/3, but I didn't get any useful info.

Please guide me,If this can be done?

In the Netweaver development studio IDE, in the project ess_**pdata

• means country code

1. Navigate to WebDynpro components and select the component VcPerPersonal**Details and drill down to the iview and select the DETAILVIEW

2. In layout select eh fields which you want to make it read only…

3. and in properties of the same field change the value to TRUE for ReadOnly.

Thanks for the reply,

I spoke to my N/W team,They said only SDA files are deployes in the server.

I wanted to know where to get the source file for the ESS application.

What z the authorization level you have for that Log in ID.

Hello,

I have SAP ALL and SAP NEW.

Can this be restrcited using authorizations??
