A new Remote Source from SDI with the HanaAdapter type is connecting successfully.
Not all SAP tables are listed under the Remote Source. Why are some tables missing? Would this be related to missing authorization?
When using the FIND function under the remote source the connection is timing out.
Error message: "the last refresh of the dictionary has failed: Request timed out"
How can the connectivity be extended if this is the real issue...? OR is this error related to missing authorization for the data dictionary?
Hello Liv,
Can you please check the DPAgent Log (located in the dpagent logs/framework.trc) file. This might contain more information on what is going on here. I've seen cases where a "Request timed out" was related to missing privileges, which should be the error thrown in the adapter log if this is the case.
Kind regards,
Timo

We never figured out why this error happened and the log files were not pointing us to any conclusion. We found a workaround by having the security team only grant access to the specific tables. This prevented having generic tables loaded and gave us the exact tables we needed for out scenario.
