Reading the Article SAVEPOINT(Redo,undo and Savepoint)
Question 1: Where is the undo log saved? IS it part of DATA or in the log volume?
Question 2: Only changes to MEM Data will be written (Write) to log volume. Not ALL data (Read) is written to log volume. Correct?

What do you mean by your second question?
Why do you think there is something like an undo-log? In HANA multiple versions of records are kept enabling undo/MVCC.
